VANCOUVER ISLAND

Vancouver Island  lay anywhere between 30 miles ( in the south) to 2 miles (in the  North) from the main land. Most of the east coast is populated while the remote Pacific coast has small communities accessible  only  by boat  thru a bunch of fjords or rough  logging routes. Horseshoe Bay, main land In the ferry The ferry route zig zag thru islands It took 1.30 hr to sail the 30miles Books exchange : Take one, put one Sharing  a good  spot for the night Self explanatory Taxi coming from Vancouver Southwest of the Island We use a logging route , unpaved and dusty to reach the west coast  .  Tranquillity in the middle of the island

Vancouver is the largest city of British Columbia and is one of the most  ethnically  and linguistically diverse cities in Canada according to the 2011 census; 52% of its residents have a first language other than English.
