VANCOUVER ISLAND

Vancouver Island  lay anywhere between 30 miles ( in the south) to 2 miles (in the  North) from the main land.
Most of the east coast is populated while the remote Pacific coast has small communities accessible  only  by boat  thru a bunch of fjords or rough  logging routes.
